Living up to the promise of offering the finest lifestyle in Thane, International Yoga Day 2019 at Amara was organized. 700+ enthusiasts of all age groups started the day with surya namaskar, followed by other guided asanas. To make the event more holistic, a guided meditation session & foot therapy was also organized by Ayushakti Ayurveda team. A complimentary detox drink was served to the participants highlighting the benefits of a healthy diet. Free health check-ups and nutrition seminars were also organized by SRL Diagnostics Ltd. for the benefit of Amara residents.
There is no greater luxury today then the rare chance to always be close to nature. Amara added a new feather to its cap with the unveiling of 2-acre private forest, yet another testament to Amara being Thane's finest lifestyle. The preview and inaugural ceremony was organise on 5th & 12th May respectively. The event saw participation from over 500 residents who enjoyed a stroll on the boardwalk, forest yoga, guided tour of the flora & fauna and the tree plantation drive.
Amara’s thriving community added a new leaf to its active life. The cricket ground was recently handed over to the residents and the 1st edition of Amara Premier League was organised. Spread over two weekends of April, it covered not only cricket but other indoor games as well that included table tennis, badminton to name a few. 28 prize categories ensured participation from all age groups of men and women.
The overwhelming response to the community building initiatives at Amara has yet again encouraged us to host a gathering for Amarites. We recently hosted a BBQ night at the newly set up BBQ and Dinning Pavilion at Amara making it a sizzling evening for the residents to enjoy. The party included live barbeque, live musical performance & fun games for all age groups. Family also came with their own food items for the barbeque and enjoyed relishing the smokin hot BBQ with others residents More than 400 residents came to enjoy the sizzling evening & live BBQ. The party ended with prize distribution and a lot of happy faces.
In our bid to engage with the residents and build a thriving community at our projects, Amāra recently organized "Amāra Masterchef" at its Clubhouse on 30th Sep. The event was a great success registering 250+ footfalls.
from about 400 families staying at Amāra. Renowned chefs from ITC group of hotels were part of the jury that crowned Mr Bhasin (Male category) and Mrs. Vesvikar (Female category) as Amāra Masterchef.
To make the event more enthralling, a music and dance show was also organized where group dance performances had the audience on its feet.
