Cricket fever at Lodha Upper Thane!
In the midst of the IPL fever, the Lodha Upper Thane Premier League was organised for residents. They were quite ecstatic and eager to showcase their skills that was evident in the high level of participation. While, the Smriti Mandhanas and Harmanpreet Kaurs of Lodha Upper Thane showcased their upper cuts and drives, the Kohlis & Sharmas had those friendly competitions amongst themselves.
Fitness program for toddlers @ Lodha Upper Thane
Little ones at Lodha Upper Thane had a whale of a time at a novel, fun-filled fitness program organised for toddlers’ aged 2 - 4.5 years on 30th July’22. The one-of-its kind initiative by the Lodha Upper Thane HPM team in association with ‘KheloMore’ saw a humungous participation. The kids got to learn basics of sports, practise speed & agility building exercises, flexibility routines and also a few drills to strengthen their tiny muscles! All-in-all, a day-well-spent for the kids thanks to one of the many wholesome initiatives at the wonderful world of Lodha Upper Thane.
When ghazals reverberated through the wonderful world of Lodha Upper Thane
Saturday, 20th Aug'22 was when the music lovers at Lodha Upper Thane were treated to the soulful tunes by Pervez Malik- a singer renowned for his melodious ghazals. It was an evening to remember at this first-of-its-kind event at Lodha Upper Thane, which attracted kids, youngsters and senior citizens alike. Pervez kept everyone enchanted with some classics from the '70s, timeless numbers from the '90s and contemporary melodies as well. Going by the houseful response to the concert, there would surely be many more musical evenings to come at Lodha Upper Thane!
Chess workshop by Khelo More
Some of the sharpest minds at Lodha Upper Thane gathered at the clubhouse, The Nest, to hone their skills and battle it out in a Chess workshop Khelo More. While the kids got to up skill themselves by learning clever moves and practicing attentiveness, the youngsters got to duel one another over games of chess. At the wonderful world of Lodha Upper Thane, it is our endeavour to engage our residents with such sessions that tap mutual interests and allow them to develop newer passions.
Lodha Upper Thane residents welcome Ganesha in an eco-friendly way
Hosting Mumbai's favourite deity- Lord Ganesha- was truly a 11-day long fiesta across the country. The 200-acre wonderful world of Lodha Upper Thane also celebrated the festival but with an eco-friendly touch. Kids got together to craft eco-friendly Ganeshas. The activity was an engaging medium through which they were taught the importance of adopting an eco-friendly way of living. With the theme being extended to resident get-togethers, games and traditional attires as well, the 2nd year celebration ensured that the thousands of families had a great time.
