Families are the fundamental building blocks of modern society. What used to be grandfathers, grandmothers, parents, uncles, aunts, children, grandchildren and even great-grandchildren all living under one roof, has now distilled into what we know today as ‘Nuclear Families’. This supposedly helps manage relationships better, given the current socio-economic structure and way of life. However, this has been implemented to varying degrees of success.
