Families are the fundamental building blocks of modern society. What used to be grandfathers, grandmothers, parents, uncles, aunts, children, grandchildren and even great-grandchildren all living under one roof, has now distilled into what we know today as ‘Nuclear Families’. This supposedly helps manage relationships better, given the current socio-economic structure and way of life. However, this has been implemented to varying degrees of success.
Perhaps, what families need is an environment they feel comfortable sharing, while still allowing them the personal space that they need to live their own lives, like the Lodha Park. It’s where grandpa can go on his morning walks, mom and dad can hit the gym before heading off to work and the kids can go play with friends, but still come together at the end of it all to enjoy a hot meal or cuddle up together to watch a movie.
A place where weekends mean picnics in the park, or a friendly game of tennis, gardening, or any other common activity that helps them bond and connect. Where birthdays and anniversaries are celebrated with the extended family where everyone can catch up and spend time together without their homes feeling cramped and uncomfortable. Where weekly and annual traditions like BBQ Sundays and full blown Diwali parties are passed down over generations.
Family dynamics are often complicated and require the right habitat that can nurture relationships. Lodha Park’s amenities allow for a whole host of activities that members can participate in, both individually and as a group that can go a long way in fostering this bond. It’s premium residential apartments offer most of such activities well within the prestigious locales of Mumbai. It is the complete urban living experience for the school kid, retired grandparents, the working parents and the family at large. It’s true that it’s the people that make a house a home. But sometimes, as it is in the case of Lodha Park, the house makes home a better place to be in for everyone.
