As a part of our Humans of Lodha series, we spoke with Aparajita Roy, a resident of Palava and
here’s what she had to say about how Palava has enriched their lives.

"I used to live in a rented apartment in Navi Mumbai before I moved to Palava. While we were
living in that apartment, my kid would scribble on the walls. However, the house owner didn’t like
it. There were hardly any playgrounds nearby, only crowded public spaces, and limited to no
peaceful environment. That's when it struck me that if my child can't even have a safe and happy
place to play around, we need to make a move.

My husband and I both come from army backgrounds. And having lived in an army colony and
experienced a peaceful childhood, it was difficult for us to see our child struggle with the basic
amenities we always had. It was these factors that pushed us to begin our hunt for a new home.
Finally, we were introduced to Palava City. Casa Bella had everything we dreamed of and more.
Lakeshore, the open theatre, and the clubhouse near our home are my favourite places. Since I
love to read and write, I sit in the greens while knowing my child is safe and playing nearby.

Every time I take a stroll at the park, I sing, "Aj kal paaon zameen par nahi padhte mere". In
many ways, Palava has inspired my husband and me to be more health-conscious. We are more
inclined towards working out like never before. We cycle around, walk and enjoy a healthier
lifestyle here.

Being a Bengali, to be able to celebrate Durga Puja every year with my family and friends gives
me immense happiness. From Holi to Diwali, we celebrate every festival with joy. Palava has
instilled a strong sense of community in all of the residents, which has led to the birth of Udaan
and Umang. In the efforts of the welfare of society, we organize cultural fests & talent
competitions. The revenue generated goes in support of building better schools & healthy
practices for the children.

If asked, the one piece of advice I want to give everyone who plans on buying a house here- if
you love greenery and want the best lifestyle for everyone including your children, Palava is the
place to be."
